FAQs

  • Do U.S. citizens need a Visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter the UK?

Yes, U.S. citizens must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before traveling to the UK. The ETA is required for short visits, including attending a wedding, and is valid for two years or until your passport expires—whichever comes first.

To apply, download the UK ETA app on your phone and have the following ready:

    • A valid passport

    • A credit or debit card for payment

    • A recent photo (taken through the app)

The cost is £10 GBP (approximately $12 USD), and even children and babies need their own ETA.

For more details and to apply, visit the UK Government ETA page.

🌿 English Countryside Chic – Wedding Attire

As our guests, we want you to feel comfortable while embracing the charm of the English countryside . Here are some attire recommendations to help you enjoy the day with ease and style.

    • For Women: Midi or maxi dresses, floral or soft-toned prints, chic fascinators or hats (optional), and comfortable block heels or wedges (since we’ll be on grass).

    • For Men: Light-colored suits or blazers, linen or tweed options, dress shirts (tie or no tie is fine), and polished loafers or brogues.

Since the British countryside can be unpredictable, a light jacket or shawl is a good idea!
